Matthew Skopyk is a sound designer, composer, and music producer whose work has been featured on stages across Canada and internationally. As the in-house sound designer and co-composer at Catalyst Theatre, he crafts immersive sonic worlds that blend technical precision with artistic experimentation. Known for integrating custom-built software and unconventional sound systems into his designs, Matthew also teaches at the University of Alberta, where he develops innovative approaches to sound education and theatrical storytelling.
